Healthy Pancakes - Three Ways
Pancakes are something I love to experiment with! There are so many ways you can make them delicious and healthy. Once you have the base ingredients to make healthy pancakes, you can make different kinds by just adding a different fruit into the mix. Below you will find 3 healthy pancake recipes. These 3 pancake recipes make you feel energized without that "I'm too full" feeling. They are a great pre-workout meal or snack!
1. Banana Pancakes
Ingredients
2 Bananas
2 Eggs
1 tsp of Salt
1 tsp Vanilla
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
Directions
Put all ingredients in a blender. Use a 1/8 cup for measuring batter. Spray your griddle with nonstick spray (I use coconut oil) . Set stove to medium heat, you will want your pan somewhat hot before placing mix on the pan so that the pancakes will form correctly. Cook pancakes for about 2 minutes on each side.
I use honey for syrup! It is so yummy and way better for you.
2. Blueberry Pancakes
Ingredients
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
1 medium, ripe banana
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 large egg
2 Tbsp almond milk
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup blueberries, fresh or froze
Directions
Put all ingredients in a blender. Use a 1/8 cup for measuring batter. Spray your griddle with nonstick spray (I use coconut oil) . Set stove to medium heat, you will want your pan hot before placing mix on the pan. Cook pancakes for about 2 minutes on each side.

3. Peanut Butter Pancakes
1 cup oats
1 large egg
2/3 cups almond milk
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoons oil
3 tablespoons peanut butter
Chocolate chips (optional for topping)
