Looking Back on 2017!

I can honestly say, this year was the best year of my life thus far. So many incredible moments happened in my life, and I owe it all to God. The moments that I was able to experience with my family and friends is simply amazing, and I wanted to share my top 10 favorite moments of 2017. In 2016 my husband, Clinton, told me 2017 would be our year, and boy was he right! I am not sure what can top these moments. In this post I will be sharing some moments with the people that mean the most to me. Thank you for making life so fun.

1. I married the love of my life!

How could this not be my number 1? This was the best day of our lives thus far, and I am not sure what moment could ever top this. I get to spend the rest of my life with this wonderful man! I wish I could relive this moment everyday. 9.23.17 <3

2. Clinton and I bought our first home together!

Clinton and I worked so hard to get to this moment and we could not have done it without the help from our loved ones. We love our first home.

3. My husband passed the bar exam!!

Clinton worked so hard for this moment! We had the best time celebrating his accomplishments at his Bar admission ceremony!

4. Honeymoon!

I can't say enough about our dreamy honeymoon! We had the absolute best time during our stay at Ladera Resort and exploring St. Lucia. I will do a full post about this exciting journey we took together, but I wanted to share a few pictures from our time in paradise!

5. Engagement Parties

We had such amazing love and support throughout our engagement! Each one of our parties was so much fun and it took our village to make it all possible. To say we are thankful for our family and friends is a profound understatement, and we can't begin to adequately express our gratitude. We are so blessed by each of our loved ones.

6. Bachelorette Party

My best friends in the world gave me the BEST Bachelorette party. We went to Seaside and had the best weekend ever. So blessed to have these wonderful girls in woman in my life. Each of them are so special! THANK YOU guys so much for helping me have such an incredible party!

7. We added a new member to the family, Luna!

This is one of my favorite moments of 2017 because I have been begging for Luna for the last 3 years! Clinton finally got this sweet girl around Christmas and our life became just a tad more exciting...

8. wedding rehearsal dinner!

I can't wait to share more about this incredible night! Clinton's parents did a fantastic job planning our rehearsal dinner. Our loved ones gave incredible speeches and luckily did not embarrass us too much!

9. Clinton's Masters themed Birthday Party!

Clinton's birthday party this year was definitely one for the books! We had some of our closest friends get together to celebrate the big 26!! Clinton's birthday was the same weekend as the Masters golf tournament, so I thought it would be fun to set up an outdoor party with spiked Arnold Palmers and a golf themed cookie cake! I will give the full details on how to plan a fun spring birthday party on a post next year!

10. Launched My Open Door!

This was something I have always wanted to do. I have always loved photography and have had an eye for styling. I have loved getting to partner with some awesome companies and also meet new people. I have only been blogging for a few months, but I hope to capture more peoples' interest in 2018! There are some exciting things to come on My Open Door! Stay tuned!
