Pomegranate Prosecco


This cocktail is so fun to drink around the holidays because pomegranates make it look so festive. This is a great cocktail to serve at a Christmas party or on New Years! Cheers!

 

If you have never eaten a pomegranate before, they are so cool because they burst in your mouth whenever you bite into them. They also are not too tart and have the perfect texture to make this cocktail super neat! This particular cocktail is very easy to make! It will be great for all holiday festivities. The rosemary garnish adds a really fun and sophisticated feel!

Ingredients (4 servings):

  1. 1 Pomegranate

  2. 1 bottle of Prosecco (or favorite champagne)

  3. Simple Syrup (3/4 cups water and 1/2 cup honey)

  4. Fresh rosemary sprigs

Directions:

  1. Make your simple syrup by placing your water, honey, and 1 rosemary sprig into a pot and bring to a boil. Once it starts boiling take off heat and let cool.

  2. Once your syrup is cooled, take about two tablespoons of it and place in the bottom of each glass.

  3. Pour your Prosecco in each glass.

  4. Scoop out your pomegranate seeds and add about two tbs to each glass.

  5. Garnish each glass with a rosemary sprig.

  6. Enjoy!
